What we collect

Velatar is built to collect as little as possible. By default, your tarot journal, mood notes and preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage — we don't upload or read them.

If you create an account, we store your email, an encrypted login credential and your nickname through the third-party service Supabase, used for sign-in, Couple’s Tarot matchmaking and linking your feedback.

Cookies & ads

This site may show ads from third-party providers such as Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies (including Google's DART cookie) to serve personalized ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), or disable cookies in your browser. Third-party vendors' use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policies.

For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent via a banner before showing personalized ads (using a Google-certified consent management platform / IAB TCF); you can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

Data security & your rights

You can export or clear your local journal anytime in Settings. To delete your account and associated data, email us below and we'll handle it within a reasonable time.
