What the card shows
The rider is a skeleton in armour — the part of a person that does not decay, and the part that cannot be argued with. A king lies fallen; a child and a bishop meet him still standing. Between the two pillars behind him, the sun is rising, not setting. The banner carries a white rose, the same one the Fool was holding at the start.
