Justice doesn’t look at your tears — she looks at the facts. This card is about cause and effect: what you receive today is often what you planted before. It asks you to be honest — with others, and even more with yourself. Carry what should be carried; settle what should be settled. Standing on her side of the scales, ask yourself: if everything were seen clearly, would I still do this?
Reversed
Something’s off balance. The reversed Justice may be an unfair treatment, or you avoiding a consequence you should be facing. You can outrun it for a while, but not the scale itself. Set things straight, and the stone in your chest finally drops.

The relationship needs fairness and candor. Are giving and receiving even? Say the thing that needs saying — no more hedging.
What the card shows
The sword is upright and double-edged, and she is holding it in her left hand — the scales are in her right, weighed first. Her feet are hidden; her judgement does not depend on where she is standing. Behind her hangs a purple curtain rather than a landscape: nothing outside the facts is allowed into the room.
